The engines are Rolls Royce Trent 900! I just can't wait until I ride Boeing 787 Dreamliner with Rolls Royce Trent 1000 engines! How quiet can that engine be lol!

I flew on SIA A380 from heathrow to singapore - yeah it is unbelievably smooth and quiet taking off. pretty surreal landing too - it just kinda floats to a stop..
little disconcerting in the air though - those huge wings sure do flex a lot!!

it was so quiet! I mean i heard of ppl saying so but you just dont know how quiet it is until you go on it. especially i got off a 747-300 couple of hours earlier (which was really noisy)..
