A great example of novelty ragtime, "Rufenreddy" is believed to have been composed around 1918 by Charley Straight, though when it was published in 1922, it may have had touches from Roy Bargy added.

Frederick Hodges is great! But he did much better in other videos. Here all the ragtime accents are missing....

I've had the pleasure of seeing perform with the Royal Society Jazz Orchestra a number of times. He also has a great singing voice; my favorite is of him singing Maurice Chevalier's "Hello Beautiful!" in German!

Frederick Hodges is absolutely the best at what he does. He is a brilliant musician, a great entertainer, and extraordinarily talented in performing this very special music.
