I don't think the rest of them should have to stop doing what they love just because Glen decided to part ways and go a completely different direction. I personally don't care what name they call themselves. Jerry, Doyle, Michale, and Chud were just a different take on the original. I'm just not that big a fan of Glen that's all. He ceased to exist to me when he quit these guys. Now I heard he's doing music, comic books, and porno themed stuff. Rejoin the band you started dude.

Chud is wailing on the doublebass pedal there. I never noticed it on any of the records before. too bad.

@Georgiew1 Then you're a dipshit. Glenn and Graves are great but Danzig era was full on hardcore punk, Graves was Metal. A real fiend from back in the day can tell ya. Graves will never be the original fiend. Cause he actually was not. Michale is Michale and he ain't trying to be Danzig that's why he's so great. But you really just grew up during the sellout period when Jerry had to fight for the name back cause he couldn't get anywhere without it.

doyles solo at 1:17 is fuckin insane

Well, you certainly have the right to deem the Graves version of the Misfits the legendary version, though the vast majority of Misfits fans and punk music scholars would disagree. But thats cool. I do like the Graves Misfits, especially Famous Monsters, but to me its not the original sound/intended sound. Saw them in highschool and loved the shows. Impressive nonetheless that you were listening to American Psycho when you were 2.

@davexy22 Let's put it this way: Thank you Danzig for founding Misfits and that way giving the opportunity to Graves to make The Misfits as legendary as they are.
-
But my good friend, if it wasn't for Danzig there never would've been the Misfits. So how can you say that Graves was the original Misfits when it wasn't his band to start? Its just incorrect. Sorry man, history is history.
-
@davexy22 i agree intirely my dear friend it wud just make more sense and wud have been better for them

speed on the table...???:)

@Georgiew1 right!
I really liked American Psycho and Famous Monsters, but its not the Misfits to me. Danzig started the Misfits, it was his brainchild, and his voice and lyrics were what set that band apart.
The late 90s "Misfits" were a great band, and they really should've taken more pride in themselves to not have to look into the past for a name, but start something new. My feelings, thoughts and responses are wanted!

@davexy22
Dude I am a huge fan of both bands, and although it pains me to say it, you are right, but I dont know if they could get a backbone from any major recording company without that name/image. At the end of the day they made great fucking music either way. I could go on for hours typing, but I wont... thanks for the feedback.
