@DarkestKNIGHTCJH our brain can only remember a song by his melody (a reason could be we can only sing in single notes and melody), we still have monkey brains after all, that's why.

@Ryoketsu Bleh, youtube y u change?
Well, simplistic melodies have always intrigued me with it's ability to draw it's audience in without doing anything fancy.
I can't disagree that they had a lack of instruments but I think that once it's been made and published for so long, staying true to the original as closely as possible is preferred, hence why video game orchestras wouldn't add anything more to the melody even if they can. That said, it's not a bad remix by any stretch of imagination.

@DarkestKNIGHTCJH I feel the need to point out that during the 16 bit era, there was a serious lack of instruments they could use. That's the only reason it had the simplistic feel that it did. I believe had the creators had more to work with, we would have had a version very similar to this one. :P
Though this one itself doesn't feel completely true to the original as far as being a remaster of sorts, just because it seems like they took the beat in their own direction at times.

best remix EVER

Strictly imo, I heavily preferred the original, the original was a simplistic melody that drew you in and felt natural, with this one, i'm actually confused by having so many instruments in it. It still feels nice and is a nice change for those who have listened to the original too much though.

If you can, even at the very least, tolerate Japanese animation, games, and/or RPGs, then Chrono Trigger is a must-play.

Ahhh the memories of my childhood... I get this warm feeling whenever I listen to this song. I feel like I want to Chrono Trigger again, just for the nostalgia factor. =)
