aluminum and lye + water = pure hydrogen.. add a spring to the top to get hot enough to ignite the hydrogen, what do you get, something that makes HEAT.

that would be a bad idea.. as car engines are MADE of aluminum, the lye would destroy your engine.

take the lye out. have you ever herd of that guy who converts water into gas?

who hasn't heard of that guy.. but you cannot take the lye out.. because of how the lye interacts with the aluminim it creates HEAT, which in turn creates steam. the steam is what carries the lye.. you can try and filter it, but it will never take out 100% of all the lye..

btw that guy who converts water to gas, uses vibrations to do so.. not a chemical reaction.

the method used here was lye/water/aluminum so its just H, no HO involved.

@Tumlock yea, if you using lye/water/aluminum method, then its not HHO.. its just H.

if your using electrodes in water and an electrolight then your hho.. if your HHO, then you shouldn't be using LP fittings to work as a throttle, you should be using a varriactor to adjust voltage going to the reactor. send me a pm and i'll give you some clues that could help

WARNING for those who attempt this, ALLOW the hydrogen to VENT out for a good 2 - 5 min before lighting.. if any oxygen is left inside the container, then you'll get a big boom. so wait and use saftey equipment like a long lighting stick and face mask! yea, i had mine explode once on me, i didn't want long enough. didn't hurt anything except my pride.
