For some reason, my battery won't snap in like yours, so I can't figure out how to charge the thing...

@Qzyxya Is the lever broken? Yu should be able to close the back door on the battery still.. then plug it in.

I was successful using some duct tape to tape an eraser cap from a pencil on top of the battery to keep it down. Worked, but was a real pain. Any ideas? My brother bought it off amazon back in November on sale so I doubt the warranty is still good...

@Qzyxya haha good old trust duct tape. No, your guess is as good as mine man! Maybe send it to Contour and pay for the repair if they quote you cheap?

@PointOfViewCameras lol yeah. But as I said in another comment, I was just too stupid to find the red lever thing. It works perfectly now.

@PointOfViewCameras Sorry, could you explain more? On mine, there is a little plastic floppy cover thing that covers the microSD slot, hte USB slot, and the battery slot/opening. It has the on button thingy. There is no other way to keep the battery in since the springs at the bottom of the hole - near the gold connector things - push the battery out.

It wont charge unless the battery is in fully, i.e. when the door is closed, or something is holding it down. Is there some other door I use?

I have one and cons are , The sd card falls out , And two and half hours is false , More like an hour at best , I take a spare batt. out with me .
