CB Chatter On Rt95 VA

Talking to a dude from Georgia about getting rear-ended. He is about 8 cars in front of me driving a Peterbuilt. Pretty cool guy. Midland Radio I got for like 20$, but I upgraded it recently with a linear amped up CB radio.

@steelraptor yea i live in va and i just got a cobra 19 ultra 3 and the max range i can talk is 10 miles i wanna get an amp but i dont know what kinda or how many watts so i dont blow it up

@tomfan180 Naw no amp on mine, although the cobra I have now has been boosted up a bit by the previous owner. Apparently it has some juiced up bits in it. I don't think you can do any damage to your CB with a linear amp, the amp would be the only thing that would die if it goes. Basically you are just boosting the normal signal coming out of the CB.
