Once again COBB Tuning enlists the help of local hot shoe, Matt Guiver, to test our suspension components for the newly redesigned 2008 Subaru WRX. Watch how our Sport Springs and Anti Sway Bars transform a stock WRX into a capable performer.

  • Um...2 seconds faster PER LAP. Say you do only 3 laps, thats 6 seconds ahead of an 08 stockie. What more do you want from springs n sways??

  • Anyone that actually owns one of these will agree getting rid of the body roll and putting on harder springs are a must with this car. Its response is way to slow for a performance car. It would have been good to see a Lateral G readout of before and after as well.

  • i take mine off the road =)...and yes its my DD

  • I got an 06 and thinking about the stage 2 packgage. But honestly for $695 and only a two second improvement I must say I'm dissapointed. It would seem that you would just get it for aesthetic purposes only rather than a dramatic improvement, as track numbers indicate so.

  • They're selling this car.

  • Great scientific method (testing each component separately). However it should be pointed out there is only a 2.2 second time delta between the stock vs stage 2.

  • How many WRX owners take their vehicles off-road?

    Almost none, I would say.

So... off-road ride height should be an option. And everyone else gets a lower performance suspension designed for tarmac.

    Wouldn't that make sense?

  • The ride height is fine, if not a little too high. You just have to know that this is a rally car....a sporty car for on the street and off the street.

  • are they any good compare to cobb? if no i mightest forget about the warrenty

  • they never will because SPT makes a bunch of puss shit, if you want to keep your warranty then you will want to get STI springs and sways
