Last night, at the new Theory store on Gansevoort Street, Brooklyn-based painter and video artist David Ellis debuted his new performance piece, Hell's Angel vs. DJ RoyOwl, a "percussive cockfight" between a mechanized, Ellis-designed drum sculpture and DJ JTram (playing the role of DJ RoyOwl), dressed in a bird costume made from drinking straws. • That was terrible. If I worked for nymag I would have made something far better. The reporter prob slept with his boss. How else does somebody get a job like that?

  • David Ellis is an unusual artist !

    I adore his works.

    Thank's for post it.
