It was on youtube from another Follies fan, then had to be taken down due to copyright I believe. I managed to relocate it and post it, and no one has caught me yet!

Alexis Smith (Phyllis) won the tony, but Dorothy Collins (Sally) was totally heartbreaking. None of the revivals ever matched the original, although the Paper Mill in NJ and the L.A. revival look pretty good.

Everyone is SO right about the original cast being indelible to anyone who saw the intitial Broadway run. Shutta was a piece of history come to life, as indeed were Fifi Dorsay and the amazing Yvonne DeCarlo.

Wow! I was in the Roundabout (2001) revival, and this footage just broke my heart!  Wonderful - using the exact definition of that word!

I missed seeing Ethel Shutta, i was hioping she be in this clip. Her performance of, 'Just a Broadway Baby' is burned into my memory.

Cannot thank you enough for this posting, remarkable for theater fans ... a must....What a thrill to see the orginal cast, what good luck....I believe everyone's comments, this original production is probably far superior to subsequent revivals...hear that Bernadette Peters and Kim Catrall are doing it in June 2012 in Washington DC....any info on this out there?
