A 1980 promo spot for the NBC series "Pink Lady and Jeff". Oddly enough it was not the ratings-bonanza the network had hoped for.

I saw one of the shows back in 1980 and I felt that American TV industry had really wonderful camera work, lightning and so forth without one thing:a good script.
They didn't know how to showcase them and the show wasn't fun at all.

@smith1958b Jeff Altman was ostensibly a "comedian"; he's had numerous guest appearances on many shows, including The Dukes of Hazzard and Thunder in Paradise.
