Why is the US pulling troops out of Iraq?

President Obama has announced the US will withdraw all troops by the end of the year. According to some reports Iraq refused to give US troops immunity from prosecution in Iraqi courts. Obama has said he is proud of their success, but what is next for the war torn country? Was the war on terror a success in Iraq? Raed Jarrar, blogger and activist, talks to RT about the withdrawal.

The only reason why US is pulling out troops is because we will soon be in another war with someone else i bet money on this.

It is to expensive and the US planes a war... also Afghanistan is over 80% of Taliban controll while 50 nations with high-tech armies fight against people who build up their devices with only a few dollar. The situation is desperating for them, they had to react and they will loose finally.

@pretorious700 - Wouldn't that be nice. However most are moving to Jordan, Kuwait, Turkey, and other bases in the region. Leaving about 20,000 inside their embassy in Iraq.

Give them immunity to bullshit... It's because they need the troops home to protect them from the revolution that's taking place... I'm guessing some of the evil doers might want to run for the mountain caves.
