  • @danfordable Try J&G Sales. They sometimes have deals on the WASR series.

  • The bolt "catching" is actually caused by the hammer, 90% of the time. It's not usually a problem because it can't happen when firing, and properly charging the weapon (all the way back, and let go) should overcome the resistance of the hammer spring. If necessary, the rounded head of the hammer can be safely polished down because only the flat face contacts the firing pin.

  • On a full-auto model, the auto sear keeps the hammer down low until the bolt group is forward, but civilianized rifles don't have an auto sear. When shooting, the hammer is held slightly lower by the disconnecter, so it can't catch (unless you have a VERY fast trigger finger).
