Many opponents of gay marriage say that it WILL affect their lives by setting a precedent initiating a slew of other "freedoms" that will trickle down to them and especially their children. For instance, it will promote the idea that public schools will have to educate students about gay marriage which will allow gay teachers to discuss it and so on and then of course, their children will turn gay and not be able to reproduce which will result in the extinction of all mankind. Get it? ;-/

I'm completely heterosexual; I never have been attracted to a female. So it brings me great joy to be able to say this. Anyone who believes that couples of same sex shouldn't get married for any reason is an idiot. Even if you are opposed for whatever reason, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with you!! I do believe that it shouldn't be talked about in public schools. For the same reason you aren't allowed to teach religion or pray in schools.

I was incredibly influenced by that show, and in particular, Rob's character, then, and still now.
