Pepe Willie talks about 94 East releasing its newest CD on the Reo Deo label: The Cookhouse Five, the original 1975 session featuring Prince on guitar -- the first time Prince ever recorded in a studio. In celebration of the 35th anniversary of these recordings, 94 East is also releasing 10 ringtones from the song "Games" off the Cookhouse Five CD, including (3) ringtones of the band, 94 East, (2) ringtones of Pepe' Willie on rhythm guitar, and (5) ringtones of Prince on lead guitar. Yes, hear Prince on lead guitar at 17 years old!

  • Hey Pepe, my uncle Tony played me the tracks back in 82' and we didn't believe it was Prince and Andre until he put out the Minneapolis genius album. I ran into Andre in 84' and he was ticked off because he said he was left stranded in NYC. Before my uncle passed he told me the story about Rick James telling his group how My uncle is responsible for his success. He mentioned you went with him to that show. Long live the memory of my late great uncle Tony Sylvester of the Main Ingredients RIP.
