I got acquainted with Martin Sexton's music living in Syracuse, N.Y., where he grew up. Some of his songs are on my list of all-time favorites right up there with some of the greatest classics of all time--"In the Journey," "Silence Now," his rendition of "The Way I Am," in particular. I need to listen to them from time to time because they've become part of my musical soul.
