Well, I've now attended that show @ the troubadour on Feb. 16th where Cotton Jones opened for Nicole Atkins & the Black Sea, and I'm happy to say that they were great! My comment below was in anticipation of the show, after only listening to them on you tube and absolutely loving their whole body of work. Not only were they a great band but the lead singer, Mike, is very nice, down to earth and appreciative of the love and support from adoring "fans" like me. Cool people--I wish them the best!

It's ok...I appreciate you filming what you did...it's nice to see/hear them in recent performances, as I plan on hearing them live in two weeks with Nicole Atkins. I hope they are energized, healthy and happy to be on the road for their tour, 'cause it's hard work and sometimes the musicians get wiped out//fatigued/hung over/sick and they end up giving a less than lackluster show. I try not to get my hopes high with a band I've only listened to by c.d. and you tube but I do hope it's great!
