This movie is about one man who loses everything. About what he does. "Jamie: How come you're doing this, then?
Josey Wales: Because I ain't got nothin' better to do": It's about big government oppression. It's about how powerful one man can be. I understand that is what elements of the civil war were about, but enough of this "North vs. South" bullshit.

Also, what the hell does it matter whether you're a Yankee or Southerner? Good and evil do not exist in war, and both sides committed their fair share of atrocities, and soldiers and citizens of both sides believed their side was the good guy. And need I remind everyone about how the Natives and immigrants were treated by both the North and the South? The war was purely over economics, and regardless of how you feel, the South was doomed to fail.

@JoezVendetta There is one problem with your idea. In 1861 the Army and Civilians had the same guns... In 2011 the army has tanks, planes, helicopters, & etc etc etc.... We still have the same shit from 1861 and no tanks, planes, helicopters, & etc etc etc....
