Alright! Peavey's revalver is awesome. It blows line 6 stuff out of the ball park when it comes to strictly computer based recording. In this little demo I used factory presets and played the little guitar part through once, with the Petite model. Then I reamped it with the 6505 and the JSX. So what you hear is identical playing but with different amp sounds! How cool is that! My number one sound that I have found so far is the preset under 'Misc' called 'early 80's' - its really good. And to be honest I think this model sounds best on the demo too, its the last one in the clip.

There is a lot more of this to come, so if you have any requests please get in touch and I will help out by making a video or answering questions.

Revalver feels like your playing through an amp. I was skeptical at first, but I took the plunge and I'm really happy with the results thus far....and I've only been using it for 5 days. There is so much to explore and play around with.

The guitar used was my Yamaha Pacifica 812S.

Take care,

Chris Elphick

  • this sounds bad hahah

  • @pandamanparty Your girl friend tastes bad hahah lolz

  • Man do you really get unnoticeable latency with that line 6 interface(ux2?) :)

Do you run it trough asio4all?

    txn man,nice playing !

  • @G36n Yeah man I get no latency! Not that I can detect anyway - and this is due to me using ASIO 4 ALL as my driver. So thats the key my friend. The Ux2 is awesome and wicked good value

    Take care

  • @lauraeeee really better then line 6 because i was seriously considering line 6 pod farm? is this better?

  • @alvarg Yeah man I like it better! However, if you want to use this you will need an audio interface to go with it. If you get a UX2 - that runs pod farm then you will have all you need to get going. Pod Farm is great, but I just like this more!

  • @lauraeeee i noticed that i was using a little to much input gain, combined with to much distortion and it just got messy xD

  • @lauraeeee i've got some random usb interface, but i get no latency or like 20 ms, which is nothing so im pre happy with that, and im using peavey revalver i love the sound i can get out of a 6505+ and a custom impulse response, and a vst plugin of a TS9 from ibanez-well a replica and yea so i get lots of input gain and a great sound coming out

  • Very good, thanks bro!

  • @bdoginit01 um well if u have a usb audio interface with a line out plug then yes thers no reason why it can't i dont see why you would bother because its sounds pretty close to a 6505+ anyway with less noise but i suppose if you have a golden ear to tube amps then you might want to, but revalver can give a sound from clean, crunch, country, blues, jazz, rock, metal, deathmetal, deathcore and anything else, +100s of speaker cabinets 1x12,2x12,4x12 and even 8x12 cabs its pretty versitile

  • So this is a computer porgram? how much does it cost? i got a 6505+ head/slant cab can this be run threw my head also?

  • @lauraeeee thanks for warning me! that could have been bad lol
