Mary Z. Cox plays "Sally Ann" in John Warren's pasture. (Cashiers, NC/October 2008) Here is another Sally Ann video. This time it is recorded on my Deering John Hartford open back with some different variations from when I recorded it on the Suwannee River last year. Taped by Bob Cox

I'm glad I watched this. I've been frailing for about two months now and I wasn't sure if I had the hand motion right. I realize that it differs with everyone, but so many on youtube have hands that travel very little and very minimal motion. However, your play style is graceful and wild, and it closely resembles mine, so I am reassured. Great playing by the way.
Absolutely Beautiful! The best frailing I've heard in a long time. You're the best claw hammer banjo picker I've seen on YouTube. Almost as good as me.
