This video shows you how WCA (Weighted Clustering Algorithm) for Mobile Ad Hoc Network works.

Step 0: No node is "considered."
Step 1: Pick the node x with lowest W_v
Step 2: All neighbors of the node affiliate to the cluster whose clusterhead is the node x.
Step 3: Mark node x and all its neighbors as "considered."
Step 4: Repeat step 1-3 on all "non-considered" nodes until all nodes are "considered."

The code used to simulate WCA and make this video is also used for EWCA algorithm presented in our paper: Yu-Xuan Wang and Forrest Sheng Bao, An Entropy-based Weighted Clustering Algorithm and Its Optimization for Ad hoc Networks, IEEE WiMob 2007, White Plains, NY, http://forrest.bao.googlepages.com/WCA_ETS.pdf

The video is made from Scilab and XVidCap on Ubuntu Linux 9.04.
