Wow, this sparked a lot of debate. The thing is, whether people like it or not, Hall & Oates turned out to be the most successful duet in history having more charted songs than Simon & Garfunkel. H & O had a long career and wrote many songs for themselves and other people. They may not be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but they are in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. As for Rob, as Natasha Beddingfield says- the rest is still unwritten. His songs are painfully beautiful.
