This is the difference with and without this exhaust deflector I found for only a few dollars. It works very well and is MUCH cheaper, better looking, and smaller than a FATboy silencer, too!

Just search Google or eBay for "exhaust deflector" and get the largest you can find, usually a 1/8 scale version with a 1/4" or slightly larger outer diameter.

In the video I'm using a WYJ-138 off of my old G23LH because the HP manifold warped and cracked, if anyone notices.

  • hey guys i want to get a goped for transportation, can you give me an idea of what to get, Im 6 ft and about 200lbs, and would like to get up around 35-40mph, as quietly as possible, any help would be appreciated

  • @hikbik7 Well, no Go-Ped goes that fast without a little modification. For those type of speeds, I'd suggest looking for a GSR46R and putting a smaller rear sprocket on it. Head to GoPedNation . com for more help...and list "Sport 29" as your referrer, haha!

  • what to pipes and filters do?

  • @gunspinner101 Filters just look cool and make your Go-Ped slightly louder. Pipes...that's a lot more than can be explained in a single comment. Look up "how an expansion chamber works" on Google.

  • @loadedlover12 not exactly lol.....

  • @LGxScopes It's in pieces right now, but once I'm done giving it its final hurrah, it's going to have a G290RC (which I have partially assembled) with a Bartolone reed on it. Hopefully that'll be by the end of this summer, otherwise I probably won't ever have the time to mess with it again.

  • @bulltex95 Awesome, will do!

  • @NFSGamerUSA I have finished building my scooter, there is a video if you want to check it out.

  • @bulltex95 Yes, it's a direct bolt-on. I would call it a racing engine because it's designed to be a high performance engine, but it's not at its full-potential in stock form; it's reliable enough for general use. If you haven't already gotten an engine, get the G290RC from DDM. A clutch will allow you to idle, but you'll need the ADA clutch kit. Let me know if you've built it, yet, or once you do build it. Have fun!
