Fireman's eye view of the Cappy Froissy Dompierre railway in northern France from the footplate of Barclay 0-6-0T 'Doll' visiting from the Leighton Buzzard Railway in Bedfordshire. The tunnel's on a 1 in 35 gradient climbing out of the Somme valley!

  • the run all the way up the line in the evening was even better, it may have been raining but it was a great evening with Doll, RL1257 and one of the simplexes, we did try to get the protected up to the plateau but it wouldnt run so we left it in the loco yard. great memories.
