Chipotle Pictures presents our *2ND PLACE WINNING* entry into the 2008 "War On War" music video contest. The song, "War On War" is sung by Sam Harris and comes from his 2008 album "Free." The video was produced with After Effects and Sony Vegas. Visuals have energy, and a Frank Miller-ish neo-noir vibe. Very cool.

Comments about the potential "subtitle" effect resulting from text matching lyrics has valence, but more so in a video consisting of "narrative" news footage, less so in a video like this one consisting of "graphic poetry."

Did you intend the puppet/control scene as an allusion to The Godfather posters?

Definitely different; definitely a contender. I like it a lot.

Awesome animation! I really like this one.

Though, seeing "Freedom of Speech" tower crumbling to nothing is a bit disturbing (especially given the context of the lyrics)! :)

Look into graphic design for a major. You have great use of space. Did that make sense? I mean your camera work in your piece was good.

Sam is the Artist singing the song. What rock video do you see that doesn't have the Artist in a lot of the scenes, or most of the scenes?

OH OH OH!! I totally remember now, I forgot to say what else I liked. It reminded me of the graphics in the credits for Casino Royale the Bond Movie! I loved that!
