Competing at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2004 in Clonmel, the Bridge Céilí Band from Co. Laois play a set of jigs. The Bridge won All-Ireland titles in 1996 & 1997.

  • GREAT MUSIC . I FIRST HEARD THE BRIDGE CEILI BAND .AT A CEILI DANCE IN MILLTOWN HALL. NEAR MULLINGAR CO WESTMEATH.AROUND 1970. ALWAYS ENJOY LISTING TO THEM. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE. COULD TELL. .ME IF THERE IS A CD AVAILABLE FROM THE ORIGINAL BAND . ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE HELPFUL . THANK YOU VERY MUCH. GREETINGS FROM U.S.A

  • @dle462 It was composed as a waltz by Tommy Peoples and was recorded by him on the album "The Quiet Glen" (Track 1). As for who turned it into a jig, i'm not sure!!
