My LP Collection Part 3 - Tom Waits, Zappa, Nirvana, and more

A late night browse through some of my record collection. All of my Waits, Zappa, and Nirvana LPs plus some Buddy Holly original UK albums and some Who LPs filling space at the end. The track playing is "Rainbow Sleeves", written by Tom Waits and sung by Rickie Lee Jones on her 10" EP release "Girl At Her Volcano".

Where did you find Freak Out? That usually goes for top dollar!! Very cool!

I paid about $35 for Freak Out...it is a reissue from 1973 but on the Verve label. It sounds so different than the Ryko CD!

Love, love, love Rickie Lee Jones performing TW's "rainbow sleeves"...so nice to hear it here. Also great to see the Zappa albums. He was so ahead of his time that I'm not sure we will ever catch up.
