jewish is the only exception, since judaism is derived from jerusalem, you can be from jerusalem and be jewish while not practicing the religion. and i hate the fact that jesus is made out to be all of the religions when we are 100% sure that he was of middle eastern descent. we make fun of arabs in the name of jesus while we are fighting for an arab. fucking bull shit.

actually, there's a difference between arabs and israelis, even though they're both mid eastern cultures. jesus was israeli. arabs are supposedly a cross-breed between israelis and egyptians, but that's just what i heard.

politically, yes, he was. ethnically, they're the same thing.

The difference was much more then just political. They are different tribes. The tribe of Judah and Benjamin were seperate from the Israelites. Also a different geographical location.
The Israelites at that time were actually in diaspora throughout the nations and were living as gentiles.
And neither Biblical groups (Israelites, Judeans) are to be confused with the current state of Israel.
