Pike Lake Provincial Park in Saskatchewan is a great place to hang out for the day. It is only a 20 minute drive from Saskatoon. We went there to hang out on the beach and it was great. It is a body of water of the South Saskatchewan River that got cut off from the main river. You can swim in the pool they have or just in the lake. You can even rent boats to go explore the lake. There are many other things to do including hiking, fishing, walking, picnicking, camping, play on the grass area, eat at the restaurant, mini golf and even more activities.
