iMac 21.5" One Week Review (iMac 21.5 vs MBP) - 28th Oct 2009

So... i've had this machine for approx one week now and i'd like to share my experiences.

Hey man, great vid. I have a question and I hope you reply. I'm currently on a Macbook and am looking to upgrade to either the new Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, or iMac. I do a lot editing for my gaming vids, and run several applications at once. I would also like to do a small amount of gaming on my next Apple system. (WoW, Minecraft, CoD4) I don't NEED the portability of the Macbook, as my current one is on my desk 95% of the time. Which one should I get?Please reply, and thanks for your time. :)

@EndofLineProductions I would go with the iMac in your instance. Depending on how urgent you need it, you may wish to wait a few more weeks as the baseline macbook and macbook pro are due for refresh. The main umph coming out from this refresh will be the Sandybridge processors which will be of huge help in almost any area, especially editing and gaming. Not that the current iMac's will disappoint, if you feel that you can suck some more out of your current setup, it may be worth waiting

Good video mate im thinking of getting a macbook pro or a imac can u help me out what one is gonna be more better for music wise/producing and stuff..im so lost lol i want a macbook coz it portable and i can take it frm A-B but im not sure about laptops anymore coz i know computers are always better ....SOMEONE HELP !!! lmaoo thanks

@zmacb would recommend the Macbook any day of the week. Portability FTW lol. Add an external monitor to it and Bob's your uncle.

how is the hd video editing on this imac?

@URBANAMERICANTAC if you can wait, then i would advise to hold off as the iMacs are due an upgrade soon. If your going to be doing a lot of editing, its worthwhile going for the core i5/i7 versions (27"). But then again, the next revision for the iMacs may see the 21"''s getting the quads.
