The Stench of Truth (259).mp4 We have to try and stop the agenda any way we can. Healthcare and the climate change fiasco must be stopped. Write and call again and again!! Demand action! Anything we can do to derail this agenda MUST be done. You know this is an agenda that they have invested everything into because they are now pulling out the stops to push it just when some big cracks have appeared. Move along people nothing to see here! The MSM doesn't even cover this much and Copenhagen is going on despite the CRU emails. Another method of the powers that be is to cram a lot of important issues onto the agenda at the same time to spread out dissent. Pick an issue or do them all but get and stay active on this! Healthcare continues apace with side issues like abortion to give the sheep something to focus on besides the overall issue.

  • I guess you weren't in country 2007. That was the year the USSC ruled CO2 was a pollutant. I think there was a different president at the time. Let me check. Yup, it wasn't the current one.

What else don't you know? Probably just about everything.

  • It is certainly true that the SC ruled this in that case but it has not been adopted or made policy until the EPA took the action. By themselves SC decisions that affect future law are meaningless until they are acted on. I am no apologist for Bush and his cronies, I hated them. I do not agree with the SC decision either. It's up to you whether you think I'm wrong on any or all of my statements.

  • Umm, it's my vague understanding of law that a ruling by the USSC regarding an agency implies the agency has to begin doing something. Doing nothing is contemptible.

I recall there were 14 states listed as plaintiffs.

You are also unaware that all the profane language in the world does not have an iota of effect on the laws of physics.

In your basement, no one can hear you scream.

  • That may in fact be the case but if that is so then why did it take the EPA so long to adopt the measure after the decision by the SC? If the law required them to act why didn't they do so immediately? If carbon dioxide is a pollutant then we better start doing something about the volcanoes too. My profanity has nothing to do with the issues at hand. And since plants thrive with high concentrations of a pollutant by all means lets restrict it and choke to death.

  • @tenebroust Check with the Bush admin officials on their foot dragging after the ruling. Another cause of delay was the financial meltdown of the economy and the collapse and rescue of GM. The automotive industry knew this was going to happen sooner or later.

Toxicodendron radicans will thrive with increased CO2. Other plants do not do so well or, their insect pests thrive more. Widespread and longterm drought is potentially more important than anything else.

  • The correlation is not perfect, I understand. I have a problem with supposed science widely accepted and touted as solid fact and indisputable. I have a problem with classifying a naturally occurring, within our atmosphere, gas as a pollutant. I have a problem with supposed climate change and correlating it with CO2. Relatively flat temp.s for 15 years while CO2 increased is not good evidence of correlation.

  • The light at the end of the tunnel is an illusion. catastrophic climate change is beyond the tipping point.

We have modified our atmosphere such that, the weather that we are experiencing, will probably become more and more extreme.

Catastrophic climate change is accelerating, and is probably beyond our control.

The amount of heat trapping green greenhouse gases going into our atmosphere is increasing every year.

Like it or not we are one of the endangered species!

  • Your biggest strawsman is that you continue to depict the US elite as an independent body able to live on its own.

It is not and it stems from the US People.

There is no elite without a base and your continual rejection of this fact leads to serious mistakes in your analysis.

  • I wonder who is unable of any rational thought.

This discussion is getting old as you fail to integrate any new factor in your line of thinking.

I already answered over the Maffia stuff.

The mafia is supported by a number of Italians which condone the actions. They take benefits by doing so.

Nevertheless, the mafia is not an elected representative system. The US government is a body that is elected and representative of the US People.

It is empowered by the US People.

  • Obviously you are incapable of any rational thought. I never said anything about corporate actions being confined to the US. You refuse to accept reality. You equate US, as in administration and people with corporations that transcend nations. That is ludicrous. It would be like me saying you were mafia simply because you're Italian.
