A montage of imagery, some stop-motion, some just obnoxious DV editing filters, using a few leftover Halloween jack'o'lanterns as my actors. Created entirely with an old, low-resolution Intel Play digital-video camera and software, a toy set purchased at a thrift shop for $10. Someday I'll get up the courage to try to make something with my Fisher-Price Pixelvision, but right now this little outfit endears itself to my heart. Yes, named in honor of the historic animated silent short "Humorous Phases of Funny Faces," also viewable via YouTube.
