SouthBeach is not the hood. This is not about black men being sold guns and liqour on every corner. Its about people acting stupid,making poor decision's and having no respect for humanity and human life. This is not a race issue its a stupidity issue. Coming to SouthBeach on a big party week-end thats supposse to be fun and enjoyable and deciding t open fire in a crowd of people because you have beef or feel disrespected by someone.

as long as the black people in those communities refuse to stand up and be counted. refuse to stop spending the money that allows those liquor stores and gun shops to be so successful then the 'hood' will remain the same. It really is sad, so few of us, want to get up and out. People like myself who have moved beyond are looked down upon as if we have rejected our culture. This stereotype is what helps continue to propagate the need to be in gangs, carry guns, and subscribe to violence.

A: just so you know memorial day weekend has been out of hand. This isn't new. In fact this is one of tamest years over the last 5 years. I live here I've seen the events that happen here, so I would know.

B: this may not be the words people want to hear, but there's no conspiracy. no one is trying to get rid of us black people. let me answer your question. why is there a gun store or liquor store on every other corner? because people in those areas are willing to make it a lucrative business.
