The Pirate Club

For over 40 years The Pirate Club, based in its unique Pirate Castle premises on the Regents Canal in Camden, has provided boating fun on the water for young people and adults of all ages! With the extension to the Castle which was completed in October 2008 we have fully accessible premises, with a lift, accessible toilets and showers and an induction loop. There is also significant new space for community activities (including a modern commercial kitchen).

The Club promotes activities and training for young people whether as individuals or in school or other groups. Our aim is to share our enthusiasm and expertise with young people so as to allow them to gain in self confidence and develop life and social skills that will help them to achieve their full potential. To achieve our objectives we often work in partnership with other charities and groups and provide sessions on our two narrowboats, skippering, canoeing and kayaking as well as canal side indoor facilities for both local organizations and visiting groups.
