Rickson didnt want the opportunity...the Gracie family chose Royce for ufc,to represent them.
Pride Fc 1 Rickson fought Takada while Severn fought Kimo?????WTF!
Rickson may have been the best Gracie and maybe the best grappler at the time but he still avoided sakuraba even in a verbal challenge match agreement, along with Marco Ruas which tells me he never wanted to fight the top guys.

This guy always has the best interviews.. he asks the best questions.. and turns the interview into a conversation instead of just a bunch of random questions... he tries to get the other person talking about more stuff. Great stuff.

It looks like the UFC schills are out, its easy to run your mouth behind the safety of your monitor guys. Ken Shamrock is a true mma legend and deserves all the respect in the world.
Thank you for such wonderful fights Mr. Shamrock, thank you for stepping up and speaking about the UFC monopoly and shenanigans with fighter pay etc.
That is a real man for you.
