  • My question might be dumb but I have an external HD if I delete Cache will the external HD replace the deleted Cache?

  • @goingawaysomeday The only stupid question is one I can't answer :) If you have an external HD it will not replace your cache. Although, if that is being used as a Time Machine backup and you restore your full system after a failure it will also restore the cache folders. Keep in mind that the folders will rebuild themselves as soo as you delete them so it's good practice to delete them about twice a month.
