every time I see a performance of Macveth, with stagnant still witches, it makes me want to slap the director. Give those poor ladies some movement.

How can there be a "perfect" performance? All drama is open to interpretation, which is part of why Shakespeare can be so vibrant and has retained a lot of its popularity.
