Her facial expressions whilst singing are due to her using her vocal chords in several certain ways. For example, at one point she opens only the left of her mouth, then only the middle, then only the right. I'm assuming her head-bouncing is caused by her playing the piano; keeping in rhythm and using its foot pedals. Too, she simply seems very expressive, which to me is just as very wonderful. This performance reminds me of if a child were to mature but not lose her core nor mind's essence.

she is not an ambassador she is just well known, and got more prominent because of her bridges and balloons song, from the commercial.

Plus, she has a charm, something you clearly don't have if you can simply say she can't sing.

She sings just fine, and there is no standard technique to singing, if you can naturally sing, you don't need a technique.

the mindset of a young adult listening to a woman grown sing with next to no actual technique ( even you must appreciate her lack of technical ability despite the quality of her closed up throat); and also that of a harpist in training who is appalled to see this woman acting as ambassador for contemporary harpists everywhere.

yes, there are more important thing happening like cancer and AIDS and poverty, but i don't see how they relate at all to my opinion of her singing ability or lack of.
