Thanks Moose. It's makes me sad to know that Joe is in this situation. His music was such a huge influence on me when I was a young Christian. I still listen sometimes and it sounds good. Great musicianship with strong biblical message.

Amy Grant would probably have a hard time in this day getting a record deal. It is no longer a cottage industry. As far as Joe English, Google Word of Faith (WOFF) in Spindale, NC. It is some pretty serious stuff and Joe has bought into it fully. After you fully investigate how they treat their members, you might have a different perspective.

With that said there are still many great songs and powerful messages being recorded,but if you listen to Klove for a few days you will hear the same songs played over and over. That playlist represents a very small portion of what is available. If you are new artist with talent... good luck.

Moose... Joe has been living in a cult like situation for many years. You might want to do a little research before reacting. I understand what gracerud is saying as well. I wrote music columns for Christian papers for many years and I believe much of (but not all) today's Christian music is very watered down and weak. Most of the industry is owned by large secular companies that focus more on the dollar.

Just saw a video of him speaking about his "testimony" and "church" it appears that he is brainwashed. Very sad situation. People with addictive personalities are susceptible to these types of lifestyles. There are some posts and sites about people that have got out of the church. It was very surrealistic to read about WOFF and watch how they treat members.

Agreed! Had the opportunity to see them many times back in the day. They always sounded good and were very kind.
