UFO over Oakland CA - June 29 2009

This orb appeared near my house in the middle of the afternoon. There is some interesting activity going on below the object. It looks like flashes of light and something appears to be materializing and dematerializing directly below and farther below the object.

whwre are you looking, East or west, North or south. The sky is so blue and clear. I am in the south bay and would like to search the skies. You 've got excellent eye sight. Mine is poor...

I've seen about 10 of these in the past 4 months. Most, including this one was seen looking south towards you. The camera cannot pick it up when zoomed out, but you can clearly see it with your eyes. Look at my video from the day before this one, it was a lot closer.

Crazy... saw something like this last night pass right over me... thought my footage was great, but now it just looks like a star. Check it out though.. i've also caught some daytime orbs when I lived in Texas.

These weather balloons are coming from FAA office at Oakland Airport North Field. They launch many balloons a day; and they're always at the same time.

dont wish to be rude but by looking at this video a few times i see its a white ballon with a strings and pieces of card board of some kind on it .... look at the film carefully

@pjmenez Good video. I've seen these orbs in the East Bay hills for like 5 years. Usually in groups of 3-6 at a time. Mostly in Hayward hills (but Oakland-Hayward-Fremont) is pretty much East bay anyways. Many others are seeing them too. Try to zoom in with mechanical items (camcorder, binocholars, camera) and they get more blurry. Almost as if by design. I've zoomed in on pics I've taken and there is a purplish glow in its center. Keep watching the skies!
