This is a new song that I started working on about a week ago. I would like to call it "Shema" after the Jewish prayer. "hear oh Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one" This is played on my Russell Cook Edition (RCE) from Master Works. It's amplified through my Bose.

  • Brilliant Ted! I worry you are going to cut your fingers! Hitting wires seems a bit risky!!

  • Once again you amaze me with your inventiveness on the hammered dulcimer, breathing a new exciting life into a classic instrument. My favorite thing to hear is when musicians take an old instrument and create an unorthodox sound that captures the imagination of today's fast paced technologized generations.

  • You do the most amazing things with that instrument! I really like this sound.
