A liitle band in a box play along. Synth sounds are pretty horrible, but BB is nice to practice with.
It doesn't always have to be difficult :)
I messed around with the chords a bit for about 15 minutes and came to this bassline. Mostly i just follow the chords with a little melodic touch to it.. The way i play it feels good though (for me), sounds logical to the rest of the harmony.
I hardly ever play jazz and also not 3/4 bars.. thats why i recently bought this software (band in a box) that contains a lot of jazz/latin/blues/swing and bosanova songs.
This s0ng does not have title in the program. If anybody knows who the author of this piece is/who it is originaly isplayed by, pls let me know. I am very curious how it originaly goes.
Hope you all enjoy this bit i played :)
@dianfu Yeah BB is a nice program, I moslty use the drum of BB nowadays. The drums are quite good. This tune has a lot of 9th chords so I basically created the melody by walking up to the 9th everytime on the G string. Simple but nice :)

Yep, band-in-a-box is practicing only. Besides the flocky sound this was a very nice practice, I was looking for ideas to bass-walk over a 3/4 and loved the melodic sense and logic you made on this one!

Hehehehe, good work, feels nice. However your synth is awful just as you said, try Logic or MP3 Play-along recs, it may sound better. You are a good bassist!
