John Hardford. A really gerat talent, and for many, discovered too late. There is no one who sounds like him., and I doubt ever will be. Godsoeed John, you are missed.

I find this version too upbeat for the mood of the song I've grown used to. Hartford's "standard" version is similar to the one Campbell made famous, though Campbell gave it a certain edge.

@VictorianRose7 Was the pick I left on his tombstone still there. Thanks for all your support of John. See you at the Hartford festival in a little over 4 months. I wish everybody that loves his music come to Bean Blossom and celebrate his music.

@johnhotze It seems like there was one there, not sure though--its been a few years since I was there. I can't wait for the festival, I just hope my husband can get the time off from work. :)
