I've always been a fan of Deborah's music. This song was interesting to work with because I had to rearrange the vocals to "create" a more traditional 2nd verse to chorus to bridge transition in a club mix. A little clever vocal editing to segue back into the final chorus was necessary as well. All in all I was happy with the results.
To answer your question about the difference... I actually did TWO mixes of the song :) The first was done using the album version and this one was done much later when I got the acapella. I preferred this version because the quality is better since I had the raw vocals to work with and didnt have to use alot of "busy" sounds to hide the album version's instrumentation like I had to with my first mix.

@NicMercy Oh and you'll also note the vocal arrangement is very similar between the two mixes. I was able to do more creative ad libbing with vocal samples in this mix because of having the acapella. All in all both mixes are good and I should probably upload the first mix to my channel at some point :)
