Still just testing things, trying to get a better balance of guitar vs vocals than my last video. And also to look slightly less loungey.
This is a song that I haven't played at all actually in a few years now. It was one of the first Elliott Smith songs I learned after Waltz #2, Say Yes, Pitseleh and Angeles I think? It was the first song that I remember thinking was really difficult, and having to work really hard at to not just have the guitar fall apart as soon as I started singing.
There are some fuckups. There always are. I was especially concerned about lyrics, because the song is sort of wordy, so I was reading them at a couple of points, which is actually really hard for me to do while playing, so in the future, I'll just make sure I memorize them. Whoops.
Also. I have this video on my computer saved as condorave.wmv and literally every time I look at it I parse that as "Condo Rave". Which is silly.

As an avid fan of Elliott, I can say you've done a good job, keep it up, you can only get better, use his great inspiration to make your own music too, that's what I do. :)

Great guitar job, nice to have you back posting! Vocally this is tough one, "too many words and not enough breaths", as with Last Call. Keep posting! :)
