America the greatest country in the last 200 yrs has become a backwards looking idealistic plutocracy. we need to reform the banking industry ... we can't survive on a finance economy where people make money on debts with tax payer money...throw in GOP we will do nothing to govern...the GOP is a failure of capitalism, they are a failure in every way and shape of what capitalism should not be...it's time to take action in the voting booth...vote them out!!! in 2010...vote out ALL GOP, all of'em!

Joe the Plumber is a Joe-k. Thanks GOP for standing by the last 8 years plus all those Reagan and Bush years and letting those guy destroy the treasury and sinking us into debt. Clinton balanced the budget and now Bush has undone all of that + 100xmore shit. Thanks GOP for standing and watching us get into a senseless war...all our allies were smart enough to stand by...GOP wants to destroy the middle class and they have succeeded...WAKE UP...vote out the remaining 40 GOP senators in 2010!!!!

How about we re evaluate our politicians and the entire political system.
You will never hear a politician screaming that we need to reform our political system.
Make it unlawful for a corporate entity to contribute to a political campaign.
Try looking at who is giving whom "contributions". See if it just so happens that the politician, whoever that may be, is in line with his/her major contributors.
Money speaks louder than words and I am afraid Pfizer has more pull than any one of you.

Up to now, Campaign reform rules have been a failure. Most on both sides of the aisle, say that if anything the reforms have had an opposite effect.

And what about the freedom of speech?

Instead of trying to add more red tape to the campaign rules, how about we work on improving education so that the next generation has some idea of civics and economics and history, so that we don't elect another socialist.
