Almost all turbo's have their boost controlled by a wastegate - the wastegate is controlled via a wastegate actuator. In most instances to ajust boost, the only thing needed is to either wind out or wind in the rod on the actuator - then clip it back over the wastegate. Obviously the fueling needs to be ajusted to suit this - and if it's injection, that'll mean a fueling ECU remap to compensate for more/ or less air

@cwmclydsdale Yes- it's all about controlling the signal to the actuator.

@XDRobinsonX There's more than a few ppl on miataturbo running ewgs off a runner on BPs and have zero boost spike.
