Thanks to 11 Second club and Searching for Bobby Fischer for the dialog. More fun animating straight ahead in Flash.

  • very nice. the looseness shows how you didn't get all caught up with the drawing. You were all about the performance. Animation is not about a drawing its about creating a series of drawings that work together. this is very refreshing!

  • It's amazing, yes.. but to be fair, I was expecting him to sound like nixon.

  • I was wondering why the dialogue was so familiar, then I saw the description! Nice animation by the way!

  • sooo good

  • how many drawings did you do?

  • this is amazing!

  • how much long this took to make O_O

  • @10lettername The character Snow White was rotoscoped, I'm sure most know that. Also the movie came out in 1937 and rotoscoping was an experiment. But well, if you still find it relevant to judge animators' works in 2011 then go for it! And I personally still don't find it complimenting if my animation work was thought to be rotoscoped. I suppose it is a matter of opinion, but to keep it safe, I rather not use it as a compliment since others might relate to my opinion.

  • @iaintgotimetoblog

No, whether it is a compliment or not is very relevant. If I mistake something for being rotoscoped and it wasn't, that would mean that his many hours of work was a success because of the fluid result. And funny you bring up Disney features as if they are a valid point, you do know the majority of Snow White was rotoscoped right? I feel my initial question was a very legitimate one, that for whatever reason, you've taken the wrong way.

  • @10lettername It is relative that it'll be a compliment or not. I wouldn't like my animation work to be mistaken for rotoscoped because there would be doubt in the whole effort I put into something. And what I mean is that Mr Bennicke has worked in Disney features so I feel like it's safe to assume you need not have such doubts..

  • @iaintgotimetoblog

..uhh yes, the motions are oddly fluid, now if he didn't rotoscope, than I guess thats a compliment.

  • @10lettername Are you really asking if Mr Bennicke here rotoscoped? woah
