Recorded February 27, 1976 and broadcast on the weekly radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour". The original taping for this program on January 26, 1976 in Long Beach, California had to be scrapped due to tape imperfections. This forced the second show one month later at Springfield, Massachusetts.

Released in 1995 as "The King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents: Deep Purple In Concert". In 2000 it was re-released as "Deep Purple - Extended Versions - The Encore Collection".

David Coverdale - Lead Vocals
Tommy Bolin - Guitars
Glenn Hughes - Bass, Vocals
Jon Lord - Keyboards
