  • the paper test is just wrong.....

I actully was interested in this style but after seeing that.....I'm good.

  • That is interesting.

  • Yawara is also the first Scroll taught in Danzan Ryu Kodenkan Jujitsu

  • Yawara means hand technique. The art of yawara uses a short stick to strike and put pressure on vital points. It is one of the special techinques taught within many Jujutsu systems.

  • iaido is a part of NIHON jujutsu.

  • The Nihon Jujutsu doesn't start until 5:00. The opening swordplay looks more like Iaido.

  • When I think YAWARA or KOSHI NO MAWARI I'm looking for armored grappling techniques from schools that originated in Sengoku Jidai or earlier. But yes as Mekugi said the word YAWARA just means flexible, which is why some Koryu used that term when codifying their armored ne-waza.

  • I would like to know the name of the instrumentals on this video, anyone??

  • Yawara is the same kanji than Judo

  • Yawara means pliable/flexible/gentle! That's all!
